Soup from a stone.......fancy that!!! We are loving this cold day! Nothing like throwing a few Stone Soup ingredients on a blanket on the living room floor, and reading our book while making the soup!

That's great! I was just thinking about that yesterday while I was making meatball soup. I really want to know the story behind it. Someone shared the story with my a few years ago but I do not remember it all. - abidinginHim  13.9 #3 7:13PM

Hi! This is my first post to the Teachers Lounge. I have enjoyed reading the many posts left by other fellow homeschoolers. This is a unique forum for homeschool teachers to share, and receive ideas. Because of that, I would love to hear any ideas or traditions your family enjoys doing for St Patricks Day! Our family enjoys the traditional Corned Beef, and cabbage. We also dress in green, and  More...
Welcome to the Lounge! What fun ideas so far for St Pattys Day!! I've seen quite a few ideas on Pinterest as well lately, including cute ideas for food that looked pretty easy. A few years ago there was an Irish festival at the local fair grounds and we took our boys to that. They still remember all the fun and ask every year if there's another. Lots of activities and music! I think I'll look and see if there's any this year. How old are your kiddos? - BluRayn  12.0 #5 11:21AM
