Hi ladies! I could use some prayer, encouragement, & wisdom (& I knew just who I could turn to). I have some wonderful plans for our school year that I am excited about but feel that I am stumbling/hitting a wall at every turn. I am sure we are under attack as my plans are going to grow my children & myself and bring God glory. There is nothing really bad happening just a bunch of little things. I More...
I will be praying for you! I think we all could use prayer from each other. I have had a few people voice doubt in my choice to homeschool my 5 year old, and its been hard on me. I will pray for you and your situation. - I-love-my-family

I'm praying for you and your beautiful family. You are an amazing mommy, and an even better daughter to our King. I've witnessed first hand the Lord working through you and your kids. You ARE 'training them up in the way they should go' and it shows. Try and remember that anything above that goal is bonus. I'll continue to lift you (and all the other mamas here) up in prayer as we start and continue our homeschool years. We need the Lords help and we need each other. ❤ Praying for many 'little' moments in your day where you can clearly see Him working. Love you dear friend!!! - 3John4

Hi ladies! I have been looking into starting my kids on Life of Fred but don't really want to spend the money if it isn't right for us. If any of you have experience with it, I would love your thoughts.
I've looked at it and read some great reviews. I think they have a chapter of each book on their web site. Have you tried the library? - 3John4

I've been interested in it, too, but I'm afraid the child I want to use it with won't enjoy reading the story. :( - emmelia

I have just spent about 30 minutes looking into Life of Fred. Does sound very interesting and I could be sold. Would love to get my hands on a beginning algebra book. Also, I need to talk to someone and see if it they have used it in high school - gardeningthroughtheseasons

I wil try this again. Life of Fred is wonderful. My dd , 10, has gone through apples to farming. She struggles with all learning and doesn't like to read, but with a year of Fred she exclaimed " math is my favorite subject!" - liskbliss
